Exercise & Sports Science Australia   "Exercise Physiologists" are health professionals who specialize in health promotion and exercise rehabilitation.

Exercise physiologists are NOT personal trainers.

Exercise physiology is a tertiary degree, requiring minimum of 4 years of study at a recognized university.

    What is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist?    
         
   
Accredited Exercise Physiologist   Accreditation is given to Exercise Physiologists deemed to have a sufficient knowledge and practical experience in the field of Exercise Physiology by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).

Consultations provided by Accredited Exercise Physiologists can be claimed from Medicare and most private health funds (conditions apply).
   
         
 
 
 
    What is an Accredited Musculoskeletal Physiologist?    
         
    Accredited Exercise Physiologists with extensive knowledge and experience in rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries can obtain further accreditation in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation.

Lift For Life is a sustainable, evidence-based strength training program which is a safe and effective for people with, or at risk of diabetes.

    C.H.E.K. Practitioners are clinicians, therapists and / or exercise professionals who have completed postgraduate certification courses offered by the C.H.E.K. Institute in San Diego, USA.    
         
   
CHECK Practionioner   The C.H.E.K Institute is named after the founder Mr. Paul Chek, who is internationally recognized as an innovator in the fields of corrective exercise and high-performance conditioning.

    Group Exercise Classes    
         
    Performance Care offers small-group exercise classes for:
  • Pre and post- natal women
     
  • Chronic back pain sufferers
     
  • Older adults, especially those with osteoporosis and / or with high risk of falls
     
  • Type-II Diabetes patients, and those at risk of developing Type-II diabetes
All group exercise classes are designed and supervised by Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologists
