What is Chiropractic? |

Chiropractic is recognized as a safe and effective form of manipulative therapy suitable for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
The effectiveness of chiropractic spinal manipulation in the treatment of acute and chronic low back and neck pain has been well-established by outcome-based research (Hurwitz et al., 1996; Vernon, 1996; Hurwitz et al., 2002; Bronfort et al., 2004). |

Our Approach to Chiropractic |
| |
| |
Research and systematic reviews have concluded that spinal manipulation is an efficacious treatment for low back pain, neck pain and chronic headache (Hurwitz et al., 1996; Bronfort et al., 2001a; Bronfort et al., 2004).
Furthermore, spinal manipulation provides long-term benefits when combined with physiotherapy exercise programs (Taimela et al., 2000; Bronfort et al., 2001b; Evans et al., 2002).
Therefore at Performance Care, we deliver chiropractic care in conjunction with physiotherapy, Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.®) and exercise rehabilitation for all our patients as indicated.
It is our goal to provide the best care possible in order to maximize treatment outcome. |
